Hello, friends!

If you’re here, it’s because you read my book and enjoyed it. Or maybe you came across my newsletter or social media and came to check me out. Maybe you’re one of my friends or family and were coerced into checking out my website. In which case, it’s about time! Or maybe you have absolutely no idea why you’re here at all or who I am. In which case, welcome.

For those who don’t know me, my name is Christopher M. Tantillo, and I write dark YA coming of age romance. I will be (or already have depending on when you’re seeing this) publishing my debut YA novel The Night I Spent with Aubrey Fisher, but more on that in a later post. I’ll keep things brief here, to both keep the anticipation lively, but also just give you a taste of what to expect.

I’ll be sharing my inspiration behind my debut novel, as well as my personal writing journey. I may also use this to share snippets from things I’m working on, as well as any future news/updates/contests/giveaways.

So look around, get to know me a little, and reach out anytime. I’ll try to keep these posts as interesting and enjoyable to read as I can.

So before you go, I suppose you’re pondering a few urgent questions. Let me try to answer a few of those now.

1. Chris! You’re a writer! You MUST have a favorite book! WHAT IS IT?!?!?!
   • Never ask me that. Nope. Not gonna do it.
2. Chris!! Surely, you must have some authors who have influenced your work?
   • Sure do! A few to note are John Green, Stephen King, Sarah Dessen, Rainbow Rowell, and Dan Brown, just to name a few.
3. Chris!!! What genre do you write?
   • Young adult contemporary. With coming of age themes and a heavy dash of romance for good measure. A pinch of darker elements to satisfy the kid in me who grew up watching/reading horror. I write about characters who all, in some shape or form, struggle with mental health. More on this later.
4. Chris!!!! One last question. Do you have any social media I can follow you on?
